Working from home has definitely become the new norm. As we cycle through sweatpants, workout clothes and pajamas, we have finally realized that we need some balance to this quarantine madness.
Typically when we get ready for work, we dress cute for ourselves and an audience, but lately that hasn’t been the case. So, what’s a better way to reignite our passion for fashion?? Layering our everyday wear with lingerie loungewear. Our two key pieces we focus on are a bralette and lace kimono.
Comfort is important when you're working from home and we don’t know about yall...but bralettes are way more comfortable when you're relaxing at home versus a standard bra.
Layering lingerie will become a fashion fetish this summer and one of Jamie’s go to styles is wearing a chic bralette or tube top. Pair that bralette with some with some boyfriend jeans and cozy oversized cardi and you will be set. If you have to hop on a conference call you can button up that oversized cardi and throw on some classic hoops for a more professional look.
We all love a great kimono, now let’s take it to the next level with some lace! The lace trend is here to stay. Why do women love it so much? It's no wonder why, as it looks ultra feminine and classic. Instead of white or black, choose a colored lace such as bright yellow, pastel blue or even pink to make a statement and increase the pizzazz. Combine it with your favorite leggings and add a neutral accessory for a polished look on those video conference meetings.
Remember lingerie should be treated like any other fashion item, especially considering you do wear lingerie every day (think those cute panties and undergarments). It is just about finding your comfort level on how to incorporate it to your ready-to-wear fashion. Will you be wowed by the next best thing you'll wear underneath it all?
